The RelationChef proudly presents the first-annual Valentine’s Day Picnic and “Arizona’s BEST Picnicking Couple” Contest on February 14, 2010 at The Herb Box in DC Ranch, Scottsdale. Couples are invited to work together to create a Valentine’s Day-themed picnic basket, to be judged by Chef Dan Moody (The RelationChef), and Becky J. Windels (Chef at The Herb Box).
Each picnic basket will be judged on the following components:
**Creativity**
Have you selected and included the ingredients and other components of your basket in a unique and creative way?
**Thoughtfulness**
In the spirit of Valentine romance, is there a special meaning or theme behind your basket?
**Appearance**
Does your food look appetizing? Are the components of your basket presented nicely?
NOTE: Picnic baskets may include wine/alcoholic beverages as part of the presentation, but may not be consumed at the event. Wine and other beverages will be available for purchase from The Herb Box.

3:30p.m. – Picnic Basket Registration Begins
Participants are encouraged to arrive no later than 3:30pm to ensure a smooth process!
4:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. – Picnic Basket Judging and Picnic Event
Couples will have the opportunity to find a spot on The Herb Box patio to enjoy their picnic together. Wine and other beverages will be available for purchase from The Herb Box.
Chef Dan (The RelationChef) will visit each table to meet with every couple to understand the meaning of their basket, while judging the appearance/presentation of the food. Guests will have the opportunity to celebrate their Valentine’s Day surrounded by other couples while enjoying their special picnics. Winners will be announced within days of the event and will be contacted directly by Chef Dan.
